| Street animation in the old part of town, recalling the time of street performers. |
| Organization |
| The organization of this Festival is undertaken by a special committee of the Association of the friends of the Street Artists Festival of Vevey. |
| Inscriptions |
| The entry forms should reach us before the 1st July 2010, at the latest, accompanied by audio or video cassettes, photos, press cuttings and curriculum vitae. Groups should not consist of more than 5 people, except by arrangement with the organizing Committee. The Committee reserves the right to publish pictures of their choice in the press. |
| Hours |
| The Festival begins on Friday 20th August 2010 at 15h30. The representatives of each group should present themselves at the Festival office at 12h00 in order to receive final instructions. |

| The 3 winning groups are obliged to present their show after receiving their prize. |
| Selection winners |
| The Committee will choose the prizewinners on the basis of documents received with the Entry form, and this alone will be responsible for the selection. |
| Locations |
During the day, the artists will perform at different places throughout the old town for a maximum period of 20 minutes each time. Each will be asked to respect the time and place fixed by the Committee. A plan will be given to this effect.
ln the evening, performances will take place under the marquee according to the choice of the organizers, subject to the artists approval. |
| Equipment |
| The use of public utilities has not been authorized. Therefore, only personal amplifiers with individual batteries will be allowed |
| Insurances |
Point
1. |
The Festival of Street Artists does not cover accidents which may occur during the Festival. The artists are bound to insure themselves. |

2. |
No checking duty will be available on the competition locations, that means on different places in the old town. |

3. |
The Festival organizers cannot accept responsibility for 'civil Liability" insurance (e.g.damaged goods or individual third-party accidents). |
| Peformances |
|
|
|
To guarantee their financial revenue, the artists themselves will organize to "pass the hat around" to the public.
For the night of Friday to Saturday, the organizing Commitee will pay the accomodation costs.
Meals will be offered to the artists at the Place Scanavin on Friday evening, Saturday midday and Saturday evening.
Breakfast will be served at Place Scanavin on Saturday morning. |
